The Nevada State Demographer’s office is funded by the Nevada Department of Taxation and is part of the Nevada Small Business Development Center. It is responsible for conducting annual population estimates for Nevada’s counties, cities, and unincorporated towns. The office also estimates Nevada’s county populations by age, sex, race, and Hispanic origin. Population projections are produced as well. We also work in conjunction with the Nevada State Data Center and other entities in disseminating census and other data.
